Steps of Faith Announces Merger with Hope Women’s Center

Steps of Faith recently announced its plan to merge with Hope Women’s Center. The two non-profit organizations are dedicated to providing support, resources and services to women and girls facing crisis. The organization will now have three locations- Apache Junction, Coolidge and Phoenix and will operate under the Hope Women’s Center name. Tammy Abernethy, who worked for Steps of Faith since 2012, has been named Executive Director.

The Hope Women’s Center will now be able to serve more women and families in need through its three locations- Hope Women’s Center - Apache Junction, Hope Women’s Center - Coolidge and the Phoenix location, which will now be known as Steps of Faith – A Hope Women’s Center. The organization is able to serve the community through its volunteers from local churches and donations from individuals, churches, businesses and community organizations.

“Our mission as we come together is to engage, encourage and equip women and girls who are experiencing domestic violence or sexual abuse, unplanned pregnancy, homelessness, unemployment, and other difficult life situations,” said Abernethy. “It is inspiring to see how our organizations each bring their complementing strengths and a shared vision.”

Services for at-risk women and girls include crisis intervention, counseling, and one-on-one mentoring. The centers also provide pregnancy testing, life skills education and spiritual guidance. Classes include instruction in parenting, ESL, health and fitness, sewing, knitting and spiritual support, along with childcare that is focused on early childhood development.

Clients can earn points by participating in monthly classes and programs that they are able to use to purchase much needed items like diapers and toiletries, baby clothes, teen and adult women’s clothes, maternity clothes and other baby accessories. Merchandise is available through donations from the community.

Hope Women’s Center is a Christian-based 501(c) nonprofit organization established to engage, encourage and equip vulnerable women and adolescent girls by providing support for their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. It offers a holistic approach to addressing life challenges a woman may face, and provides the tools and resources needed to overcome these challenges. Housing Industry Full Of Hope
Monthly volume has been declining for over a year now; it is already touching a nearly 31-month low, thanks to hardening interest rates and unaffordable property prices. Correction is expected in the industry, but there is another perspective to it. No increase in property prices is also a correction. The property rates have been rising but it is not corresponding to the increasing inflation rate, which is a good sign.
Hope for the indigenous Amazon tribes
The indigenous people left on our planet hold an ancestral link to the history of what was before the development of cities like Rio and Sao Paulo. Their customs have stayed with them throughout the years and today they continue to live peacefully within the Amazon. I’ve always been intrigued by their way of life; the language, their day to day routine, what they do for leisure? But their treatment lately
