Datamax-O’Neil Presents New PrintPAD Integrated Printing Systems for Mobile Applications
Datamax-O’Neil PrintPADs now also available for MC65 and MC67 mobile computers from Motorola Solutions. / Combination of portable printer and handheld computer enhances efficiency and productivity of mobile workers.BOURG-LÈS-VALENCE, FRANCE – August 26, 2013 – Datamax-O’Neil, a leading manufacturer of stationary, vehicle mount, portable label and receipt printers, has launched two new PrintPAD integrated printing systems: The PrintPADs MC65 and MC67 combine Datamax-O’Neil’s microFlash 4te printer with Motorola Solutions’ MC65 and MC67 mobile computers in a robust and compact cradle. The connection between printer and handheld computer allow both devices to communicate with each other and also be charged at the same time. This gives better flexibility and comfort to the workers in field service, direct store delivery and other sectors to carry their data capture and management systems with them.
The PrintPAD MC65 and MC67 integrated printing systems are especially ruggedized and comprehensively support mobile workers in their task management. They can enter data such as delivery or pick-up information into the mobile computers from Motorola Solutions while on the road or at the customer’s site. Due to the connection with Datamax-O’Neil’s portable printer, users can immediately generate corresponding receipts such as shipping notes, service vouchers or inventory lists, based on the entered data. This considerably increases the productivity of mobile workers and enables them to optimize customer service.
“Due to the compatibility with Motorola Solutions’ MC65 and MC67 mobile computers, we expand our successful PrintPAD series by two new innovative devices”, says Christian Bischoff, Regional General Manager EMEA at Datamax-O’Neil. “The PrintPADs MC65 and MC67 offer mobile workers the convenience of a ‘carry, charge and communicate’ solution in a highly reliable and cost efficient way.”
