Dragonfly™ Broadens Market Product Offerings
SANDY, UT, August 12, 2013 – Dragonfly Solutions™ has upgraded their sales channels adding direct sales methodologies to include both the Public Sector and the Private Sector. This change comes as Dragonfly’s work has developed in U.S. cities and communities. The change, in part, is a result of terms not coming together with Arivus, Dragonfly’s sales partner since October 2011.“This really gave us the chance to look at our business model and increase the groups we can serve with Dragonfly Equipment,“ said L. Brent Ivie, Co-founder and CEO of Dragonfly. The plan now is for Dragonfly to focus on communities, through the Public and Private Sectors. “It’s a logical growth plan, that allows us to continue helping schools,“ Ivie stated.
This new direction is positive for Dragonfly, enabling them to work directly with all of their clients. Jacqueline Zielenski, Co-founder and President of Dragonfly has been sales manager over the past two years. “A direct sales program with both large markets gives Dragonfly access to clients and sales people, and that makes communication easier,” she said.
For the Private Sector, Dragonfly manufactures Sustainable Energy Efficiency Development (SEED) Equipment for the dental, medical and veterinary industries, as well as the manufacturing industry. Harmonic filtering, clean power, demand charge reductions, and an average of 15% power bill savings are the key SEED Equipment features. Dragonfly now offers a consulting practice to Private Sector clients centered on power bill evaluation. “Many companies don’t understand their power bills, and what steps they can take to reduce them. Often we find clients have been placed in higher tiers that really affect their bills,” said Ivie.
For the Public Sector, police and fire departments, school districts and governments can receive SEED Equipment subsidized through the sale of Clean Skies environmental attributes that are generated from clean energy projects. “Our focus is working within communities that want to save energy throughout the entire community, “said Zielenski. “Pilot projects will be announced very soon,” Zielenski added.
Clean Skies Certificates™ and Clean Skies Carbon Offsets™ are sold into the community as part of the community energy plan. "This helps keep the revenue in the community, allows businesses and individuals to help local schools and enables everyone to take advantage of Dragonfly’s SEED Equipment,“ Ivie added.
“We are excited about these change, and we wish everyone associated with Arivus the very best,” said Zielenski.
