Now AvtoUragan Recognizes License Plates of Thailand

AvtoUragan, the Russian system of video recording of road conditions, recognizes the most difficult license plates in the world.

The specialists of Recognition Technologies improved their AvtoUragan system, which now recognizes one of the most difficult plates in the world — license plates of Thailand. Only few developers of recognition systems can boast that they are working with vehicle registration plates from this country. The identification of Thai plates is difficult because of the use of the national alphabet on license plates. The letters of the alphabet are unique and original, they have no similar characters with the Latin or Cyrillic alphabets. To understand the difficulty of working with the vehicle plates of this Asian nation it is enough to see them once.

Earlier it was reported that AvtoUragan traffic control system can recognize 360 types of license plates from 45 countries. With the identification of Thai license plates the Russian system AvtoUragan will be able to attract attention from potential customers in South-Eastern Asia.
