Kinzigtal total - The ultimate skater's and biker's event on Sept 9th

When bicycles and inline-skaters have the right of way on Sept. 9th, everybody in Germany's state Hesse knows : It's time for KINZIGTAL TOTAL, the annual car-free enviromental event in the valley of the river Kinzig, east of Hanau am Main.
On 80 kilometers (50 miles) closed roads from spring to mouth, the lovely landscape can be explored and experienced without haste and enviromental-friendly without cars or motorbikes. Like in the years before, more than 150,000 visitors will visit this biggest streetfest in Hesse.

The lovely town of Aufenau, located in the center of the Kinzigtal valley on the southern slope edging the Spessart forest, offers a great place for a rest on this event.
The Kneippverein Eberborn invites the visitors to come for the "Bergfest" and offers not only a hefty 'Bavarian farmers breakfast' from 9.00 am on, but also Bavarian Guglhupf and the Genuine "Oma Paula's Quetschekuche" (Grandmother Paula's Plum Cake), a delicious speciality made from untreated fruits of local plum trees after an traditional German recipe made by Paula Nix (74).

Come and visit our place in the beautiful town of Aufenau, we're glad to meet you ! You will find us in the middle of the town in the yard of the Nix and Werth families in Frankfurter Strasse 31-35. About our club :

The Kneippverein Eberborn is main caretaker and operator of the public Kneipp's method hydrotherapeutic facility (Kneippanlage) in Aufenau. The association has not only founded itself on the promotion of Kneipp's method and the positive effects of hydrotherapy on health, but also on joint activities of members and guests.
The smallest and yet youngest of the clubs of Waechtersbach has very active members and we are glad to welcome guests from all over the world.
