The Pixel Skull Art Collective is setting sails destined to alter the established art scene. Trailblazing 3D Virtual Art Space and NFT Platform launches with 444 digital artworks (NFTs) by 52 established and emerging artists from 14 countries.

2022 will redraw the map of the digital art world forever! Pixel Skull, a collective of global creatives and creators, is launching its art space and NFT platform with its debut exhibition, aiming to create a new destination on the horizon for art collectors, that offers digital art and a community beyond the ephemeral currents of the recent hype around NFTs.

"SKULLS" will showcase the 444 digital NFT artworks made by 52 interdisciplinary artists from around the globe.

Pixel Skull puts artists first by providing them with a virtual 3-dimensional museum space - without the need for additional soft- or hardware. The collective will serve as a matchmaker between artists & art enthusiasts, skipping the traditional middlemen. It provides artists with easy access to Non-Fungible Token (NFT) Sales, and art collectors acquiring digital art (NFTs).

The first exhibition will be hosted in a skull-shaped museum made out of 16 square rooms, each of them displaying a curation of works from established artists including Jonathan Calugi (Italy), Moriuo (Japan), John Ritter (US), Marta Veludo (Portugal), Kera (Germany), and Eduardo Foresti (Brazil) - and emerging creators alike.

The twist - prices will be the same for each artwork. Each buyer will become a part of a group of collectors that will get exclusive access to future collections.

Jonathan Calugi, Illustrator (Pistoia, Italy)

International know, working out of his studio Pistoia, Jonathan is still trying to understand how to connect 2 points with a line. His work is simply, sitting in the middle of illustration, art, and design. Believing in a simple message, spreading love is his mantra.

Marta Veludo, Graphic Designer (Amsterdam, Netherlands)

Marta is a graphic designer and art director. Inspired by the pop-culture, folk art, pound shops, and Tumblr, fascinated by inventions, color, movement, and compositions. She designs & conceptualizes for both cultural and commercial fields, combining different disciplines and mediums to build engaging experiences.

Moriuo, Illustrator (Tokyo, Japan)

He started his career in publishing in 1999. When drawing illustrations for magazines, he wished he could be like Norman Rockwell for LGBTQ+. Since then, he worked on countless illustration & design projects, with a focus on the LGBTQ+ community. His illustrations focus is around same-sex couples and marriage.

John Ritter, American Pop Artist (Pittsburgh, USA)

John creates vibrantly concise depictions of celebrities and popular culture, consistently defining the pages of The New Yorker, GQ, NYTimes, and Harper's. He began his career in California in the 1980s. As a digital pioneer at Adobe Systems Inc., his ability to create emotionally engaging images landed him a slot on the design team.

Mimi Del Ray, Music Producer (Tokyo, Japan)

Established as a world-class music creator, she sets herself apart with her rather "un-Japanese" sense of bass programming. Production, songwriting, track-making, arrangement, and other elements of music production. She has all bases covered when it comes to the multifaceted realm of music production.

Eduardo Forest, Creative Director (São Paulo, Brazil)

Eduardo graduated in architecture at FAU-USP, and holds an MFA in graphic design from the Basel School of Design, Switzerland. He worked for about ten years as a creative director at legendary ad agency Almap/BBDO. He was a partner at design buro EC for six years, and in 2012 he founded Foresti Design. He teaches Brand Identity at EBAC.
