High School Teen Grish Majethiya's Short Film Screened At New York Based Film Festival

Aurangabad's Grish Majethiya made it to New York. The short film 'Decision' written, directed & produced by a 17-year-old got selected at the Urbanite Arts & Film Festival. The Urbanite Arts & Film Festival is a US-based film festival, & it's mission is to foster the next generation of filmmakers. The screening is scheduled on June 25, 2022, at Bedford Playhouse, an art, film & cultural center located in New York.

The film carries an important message about an ugly reality that plagues students in contemporary society, suicide. Earlier, the film was also recognized in various film festivals including India Film Project, Join Films Short Film Contest, Aao Short Film Festival, First Time Filmmakers Session, Lift-Off Sessions, Kalakari Film Festival, and more.
The film had its television premiere in Feb 2021 on MTV India followed by an OTT release on MX Player. 'Decision' is rated 9/10 on IMDb and is receiving tremendous love from the audience.

About Filmmaker:
Grish currently studies in class 12th, He says he's currently experimenting & exploring various aspects of filmmaking including production, film business, film distribution, marketing, sales, creative direction, writing & more. He has already written, directed & produced a few short films including 'Unexpected Breakup', & 'Jaaniv' that's ready to release in the coming weeks. He has also directed & produced a couple of music videos for Valmik Pawar's 'Aa Bhi Ja' & CS Chandanse's 'Tu Hai Bas Meri' & distributed more than 20 films to various OTT Platforms under his banner 'GM Productions' in the past few months.

He's also focusing on his formal education & preparing for his college admission at the moment. He looks himself at renowned college perusing B-Tech & then MBA while keeping this filmmaking thing as part-time, but eventually wants to make films itself in future.

Grish Majethya is grateful for getting the support of everyone and hopes to create some new projects, keep everyone entertained and create a pathway to enter the Bollywood industry.

Grish Majethiya is an Actor & Young Filmmaker from Aurangabad, Maharashtra born on 25th Jan 2004, popularly known for his heart-winning performance in TV Reality Show No. 1 Dramebaaz (2018). The short film Decision (2021) is his debut short film as a Director & Writer (Filmmaker) which has won several awards, he has also worked in many projects as an actor, which includes the TV show 'EPIC IQ', International Series Legendary Locations (2019) and many more. He is also the Acting winner of the TV Reality Show 'No. 1 Dramebaaz Season 3'.
