Press release from: Metalux Group of Companies

Singapore, Singapore – 24 August 2007 - Metalux partners vibration training market leaders Mobius Institute – ithe ‘iLearn’ people to bring a 4-day intensive technology training to Singapore this October.

METALUX is proud to partner Mobius Institute, the "iLearn" company to offer a brand new way to help participants become trained in vibration analysis. This is a 4-day intensive technology training held at the Swissotel Merchant Court located in the heart of Singapore’s charming cultural landmark, Chinatown.

With the Mobius syllabus, vibration learning extends beyond the 4-days in a training room. Participants can expect to receive the best trainers and the best training aids including software simulators that revolutionize the training room: simulators and 3D animations make it all crystal clear in a fraction of the time. Participants also get a CD of the world-renowned iLearnVibration training system that will provide them with the training and reference that they need to successfully master vibration analysis even back in the plant.

An ability to break down complex concepts into readily assimilated bits of learning is a core strength of Mobius training technique. As consultant Paul Jordan puts it, "the software is great! I am a Technical Associates Level II and even for me it has helped clear up some grey areas for me. I wish I had this software 5 years ago when I first got into this line of work as I am sure I would have progressed at a much faster rate."

Bill Kilbey is the lead trainer from Mobius, and brings with him a wealth of troubleshooting experience in many industries including petro-chemical, pharmaceutical, wood/paper products, mining, automotive, food processing and general manufacturing. He has over 10 years experience in teaching a variety of reliability related courses including balancing, alignment, basic and advanced vibration analysis, CBM software, Root Cause Failure Analysis and management focused courses.

Winstone Pulp’s Paul Bing has only good things to say of his experience in the class: “I have recently finished iLearnVibration Level 2 training. I would recommend this to anyone as training that is REAL value for money. I have done a lot of training in my working life of 24 years and this is by far the best."

Reliability Engineers and Rotating Equipment Specialists whose job is to ensure the reliability of equipment under their care know that Vibration Analysis is an integral part of any modern machinery maintenance. However not all of them are versed in the application concepts of vibration analysis, or skills-certified to an internationally recognized standard.
