FileMark Announces SMARTi Enterprise 3.1.7

SMARTi Enterprise is targeted at mid-sized and large enterprises for transactional document processing applications, including paperless invoice processing and proof of deliveries for accounts payable in manufacturing and distribution firms.
SMARTi Enterprise is an integrated document processing system that combines the technologies of imaging, workflow, electronic document management and records management into a single Web-enabled application. Automatic indexing of scanned images is achieved with a new state-of-the art capture subsystem that includes zone OCR, point and shoot OCR, intelligent forms processing with pattern and dictionary matching, full-page OCR to MS Word format, barcode recognition, a barcode coversheet creation tool, support for distributed scanners, software imprinting and bates stamping, automatic indexing of PDF and MS Office documents, a required documents auditing feature and a searchable CD/DVD archive creation tool.
SMARTi Enterprise workflow has been enhanced to include deadlines, automatic notifications and escalation, audit trails and PDF forms processing. SMARTi now allows any type of document to be viewed, annotated and printed in PDF format. A new low-cost, easy to implement, line-of-business application integration tool allows data from any external program to be used for automatic indexing of new documents or to automatically retrieve associated documents from the SMARTi Repository.
