Vienna, Austria: 123sonography, which holds a market leader position in the field of medical echocardiography, has now released its new Echo MasterClass 2022. The course includes updated and expanded content of their first-ever produced medical e-learning course. The new Echo MasterClass is a premium online echocardiography training program for health care professionals. Twenty-three video lectures cover the entire spectrum of echocardiography (basic and advanced), ranging from the physicals and principles of ultrasound to congenital heart disease. The target groups are sonographers and medical doctors working in cardiology and internal medicine. The course now includes over 35 hours of content, demonstrations, case examples, animations, and quiz questions. It is the most extensive video online course of its kind, covering not only ultrasound but also clinical cardiology related to the field of echocardiography. So far, over 25.000 Echo MasterClasses have been sold, making it the company's best-selling course.
The updates concern the chapters of Principles of Echo and Coronary Artery Disease.
✧ For the chapter on Principles of Echo, even more, imaging fundamentals were added, and it covers content included in the SPI or ESC exams. It helps to understand better ultrasound technology and how to optimize scanner settings.
✧ The Coronary Artery Disease chapter now consists of the newest research. This chapter provides valuable tips to assess wall motion abnormalities, quantify left ventricular function (including strain/speckle tracking imaging), and demonstrate how to differentiate ischemic from dilated cardiomyopathy complications.
