Proud to be BITSian Praveen Bali 80-84 Bags the Honours for BITSAA Global Meet Logo Design
The passion for Alma mater peaking alumni of BITS which include the seamless Work Integrated Learning Programs - WILP are spread across the globe, excelling in different domains as Corporate Leaders, Academicians, and entrepreneurs, young alumni in various domestic and international corporations. There are many startups established by young alumni out of which more than 12 startups have graduated to Unicorns. Several Public sector organizations in India have been headed by alumni of BITS.
One of the exciting things to happen for BGM is the logo design for which BITSians across various latitudes, longitudes and altitudes keenly contest to test their prowess pouring their creative juices. BGM 5.0 logo design by Proud to be BITSian Praveen Bali 1980-84 BE (Hons) Mechanical bagged the honours. Praveen had spent most of the Professional Career in Oil and Gas Industry , mainly Cross Country Pipelines construction and commercial use of CNG for Vehicle etc. Since 2016 , he is promoter and investor in various new ventures.
Praveen Bali glowing credentials include Founder Partner at Viona Pro Services, Founder Indigo Holidays Georgia, Owner Technicon Holdings Tbilisi Georgia, CEO Autoweld Systems India P Ltd, Managing Director OnG Human Resources, SR GENERAL MANAGER Punj Lloyd Limited. In the words of Praveen, Peacock was chosen as its near and dear to all BITSians apart from being the national bird. The peacock posture was to bring out the festivity and the four wings were to represent to the four campuses of BITS with the four colours to bring out the colours of bright turbans worn by people of Rajasthan.
With the logo concept well in place, BITSian Amit Sheth and his team who spearhead the PR for BGM gave the finishing touches. As BGM'23 is being hosted by BITSAA Jaipur Chapter, the preparations had kick-start to unveil the Logo for BGM'23 by BGM Advisory Committee on Saturday, 14-05-2022 at Ashok Club, Jaipur in presence of Mr. Kailash Gupta, Chairman, Mr. Alok Jain, CEO and all the members of Core Organizing Committee. In yet another colourful function on 29 May 2022 at Diggi Palace Jaipur graced by Vice Chancellor Prof. Souvik Bhattacharyya, the commencement of Registrations for BGM was announced. BGM Jaipur include keynote addresses, knowledge sessions, panel discussions, Startup showcase by BITSians as well as Cultural programs.
