(arvato Systems) Gütersloh/Buchholz, Germany – Buchholz-based shipping company terra has decided to introduce the SAP ERP-based industry solution best4log-x and roll out SAP ERP in all its subsidiaries with arvato Systems.

The management at terra is now confident of its decision. Just two months after the launch of the project and completion of the system specification phase, the solution has been successfully deployed in financial accounting. “We made a conscious decision to opt for an integrated and a global ERP system for our company,” says Michael Tietz, owner and Managing Director of terra. Over the coming years, his company is set to “reap the benefits of the full integration of shipping, logistics, and administrative processes and a globally standardized solution.” The costs for integrating stand-alone solutions have continued to increase at a rapid pace over the past few years and “sound information for making decisions was only made available to management with a great delay, if at all,” says Tietz.
