Join us to celebrate Mother day's with her freedom rights in the Arab World!
Faty Alhousseini, a social media activist for Iraqi women's rights recently moved from Amman, Jordan to Istanbul, Turkey. Her journey to bring awareness to Iraqi women's daily issues in a closed society for female rights, has garnered followers on her Youtube and Instagram Channels from all over the Arab world. As a plastic artist, she expressed her feelings shared by her Iraqi women daily problems they would face on a daily basis. Her female followers in the Arab world could all relate to their daily issues in matters such as underage marriage, the right to select their mate, the right to dream as an individual and achieve their dreams.Born in Iran of Iraqi parents and being exposed to different cultures at a young age by traveling to different countries, gave her the courage to dream like anybody else in the western world. Her aspirations of dreaming and being successful at what she does, gave her the drive to fight for her followers who can only dream of being like her, FREE. Their relationship of trust and ability to share their daily issues and fears propelled her as an elder sister who would advise her younger Iraqi girls and women with her life experiences.
Being married with three kids, and a house dog pet, has not slowed her down on her endeavor to help change the Iraqi cultural view of Iraqi women in society. She has made herself available to over 1.1 million Instagram followers in the Arab world. Her sincere interest in helping and advising her followers in resolving issues can be felt by the reciprocal love her followers have for her.
Education and persistence for demanding women's rights in Iraq is the right path to achieve that goal according to Faty. "Standing and hoping for change to happen will not occur unless one becomes involved in the process itself" says Faty in her Youtube channel.
With the coming of Mother's day in May, Faty invites all of those who really support the cherishing of basic human rights for women in general around the Arab world to join her to bring awareness of Iraqi and Arab women's plights and to fight for those unable to stand up for themselves in the Arab world. "Being together and supporting each other is the least that can be done", mentions Faty in her Instagram message. Wouldn't you join us on May 8, 2022 to be part of history in celebration of Mother's Day for more than half of the Iraqi population and show support for achieving their rights?
Faty will be holding a special event on her Instagram channel on May 8th in celebration of Mother's day, all those interested in participating are cordially invited to the event. Join us to honor and celebrate mother's day and also bring awareness to the Arab world that freedom for women in Iraq and the Arab world will continue its march until it is achieved.
