VIDAPOINT™ BRINGS "PERS" TO EMERGENCY CENTERS

Global Wireless Health Limited (GWH), an international IoT wireless solutions provider, introduces Vidapoint™ a personal emergency monitoring solution for use by Emergency Number Centers (ENC's), and other organizations to provide advanced mPERS (Mobile Personal Emergency Response Systems) technology to improve response to life threatening situations-particularly aging and chronically ill populations. PERS has to a 40 year history of saving lives and reducing subsequent medical costs by faster help because of rapid notification of emergency events. Falls and delays in help in particular are an ever increasing cause of non-medical death or injury to the aging population around the world- according to the US CDC and similar health tracking organizations worldwide.
Vidapoint™ is a proprietary cloud-hosted solution, to equips emergency response personnel to receive and respond to calls from GWH™ iHelp PERs devices, without the large investment associated with conventional "central stations"- a major cost factor in deployment of PERs in all markets-especially local and regional governments starting up a PERS service with limited funding or local expertise-especially in less developed nations. Requiring only an Internet connection and local cellular coverage GWH's Vidapoint Personal device can provide instant two-way voice communications, location information and other data from users seeking help without a large infrastructure and with small incremental increase in personnel costs. The wearable device is lightweight (2.5 oz) and also includes battery charge management, a medication reminder and "voice prompts" to keep the user informed of its status.

Vidapoint is web based and conveniently integrated to existing ENC's for one or any number of positions taking calls at a given time. Operators or "attendants"' are provided with a complete suite of monitoring tools in an easy-to understand/use format to assure effective call response from PERS devices, which are not usually supported by emergency number centers-such as 911. The call can be automatic due to GWH's fall detection notification system (FDN) providing true GPS based location service, when GWH iHelp device users are affected and unable push a button or talk or report their location.

Calls are logged and custom reports, by caller, call center attendant and other criteria can be created by ENC personnel. The solution can also record all calls for future reference. In addition the Vidapoint APP provides iHelp user's family and caregivers the ability to monitor their location as well as be alerted of any alarms (such as fall detection) or even that their battery needs recharging.

The Vidapoint APP works independently of the call center and minimizes the administration and involvement of ENS' whose full time and resources can be applied to caller's emergency needs.

Vidapoint is provided as a flat-fee monthly service and is available in over 120 countries
