Los Angeles, CA - Aug 17, 2007 - Charles Belk Management announced today the establishment of an international PR internship program to give pr, marketing, communications, and english students real-world entertainment public relations experience. Ten (10) students will be chosen from around the world and guided through campaign launch responsibility for their designated geographical area.

The Charles Belk Management Public Relations Experience (CBM-PRE) internship program will allow hands-on participation, including story development, pitching, online & offline strategic planning, writing, message development and tactical campaigns. Direct interfacing with top news and media outlets will be one of the highlights of this program.

Selected students will work from their own location and receive assignments, guidance, feedback and approvals mostly via digital and online methods (text messages, emails, bulletin postings, etc.). Each student is expected to work a minimum of 5 hours a week. These are non-paid internships, but selected interns will gain invaluable experience for their resume. International interns will need to be fluent (written and verbal) in both the language of their assigned geographical area and in english.

The ten students selected for the CBM-PRE internship will be assigned one of the following geographical areas to concentrate their pr efforts:
1. Northeast (US)
2. Southeast (US)
3. Midwest (US)
4. Southwest (US)
5. Northwest (US)
6. Paris, France (and surrounding territory)
7. London, England (and surrounding territory)
8. Madrid, Spain (and surrounding territory)
9. Tokyo, Japan (and surrounding territory)
10. Either Canada, Mexico, Australia, Germany, or South Africa (depending on applicant submissions)

The CBM-PRE internship dates are September 10, 2007 through December 7, 2007. The deadline to apply is Thursday, August 30, 2007

To apply, applicant must:
1. be a part-time or full-time student at an accredited institution of higher education (undergraduate or graduate) of at least a junior (3rd year) classification
2. submit a resume and the url of their myspace or personal website location
3. submit the url of any YouTube or other online presence
4. submit a brief paragraph of any pr or media accomplishments or activity
5. submit a brief (1 page limit) pr campaign strategy overview for ONE of the following:

6. submit any other related information / supporting documentation / references if they so choose

CBM-PRE intern selection will be based solely on the information submitted. No interviews will be conducted.
