CONYERS, GA) The city of Conyers welcomes the first ever General Adult Medicine and Pathology Practice in Georgia. This practice aims to connect with Conyers and its neighboring communities to serve families with or without insurance. Its noble mission to reduce human suffering and prevent complications from chronic diseases.

Prime Care and Pathology is an independent, medical clinic. This practice offers advanced diagnostic pathology and specialty laboratory services. The location has two buildings: the main building is currently servicing patients with a minor procedure room, exam room and conference area for patient education in addition to discussing their wellness plans. The second building an administrative facility is set to open in the coming months to be used as training facility for student nurses and training physicians to shadow Dr. Gates in this medical and pathology practice. The main purpose of this administrative facility will be to associate our efforts with physicians and hospitals within the community. We will also sponsor outreach programs to the community at large including seminars with invited guest speakers/lecturers.

In his opening speech to the attendees of the grand opening Dr. Gates said "During the summer of 2021, I decided to develop Prime Care and Pathology as a sister-practice to Medical Diagnostic Choices. This practice, which is independent of MDC, will focus essentially on primary, personable preventative care. My wife has been extremely supportive in this mission, as she guided me to consider a location to be closer to home as I near my final years of medical practice. "
Who is Dr. Jackson L Gates, MD?
In 1987, Dr. Gates received his Bachelor of Science degree at Morehouse College, earned Doctor of Medicine (MD) at Medical College of Georgia at Georgia Regents University in 1992. Dr. Gates furthered his studies in July to September 1992. Dr. Gates successfully pursued his residency in pathology at Emory University School of Medicine, Pathology, Cytopathology.

Filled passion and enthusiasm Dr. gates spoke about his wife 34 years, family structure and four (4) beautiful children "My family and I moved to Conyers, Georgia in 2002, now more than twenty years ago. My wife, Mrs. Montini Gates, who is a very active member of Delta Sigma Theta INC- Covington-Conyers Chapter, has worked in Rockdale County School System for over Fourteen (14) years, after working in corporate America. My wife and I along with our family have raised four children in Conyers, GA, including my eldest daughter now an attorney in New York, my middle daughter who is a registered nurse-in residency at Emory University Midtown Hospital, my baby daughter, a senior at Johns Hopkins University and her goal to become a PhD, Clinical Child Social Worker and Psychologist, and my son a senior at Rockdale County High School.
I have been on this journey for more than thirty-five (35) years with my wife, Mortini, has been with me on this journey for more than thirty-four (34) years. I have been practicing medicine since completing medical school for more than 30 years. My have diverse medical experiences, varied in clinical, laboratory medicine and pathology."
