This latest release builds in various customer requests as well as some additional functionality.
Image Genius Professional is a powerful digital image-editing tool that processes large numbers of images via a pipeline consisting of a number of preset operations. A pipeline is created by simply dragging and dropping selected operations on to a workspace and linking them together to form a pipeline. Each operation has its own settings for users to adjust to suit their workflow. Image Genius Professional, which includes over 100 operations and commands, would be a powerful tool to add to any individuals or organisations armoury especially if excessive amounts of time and money is spent performing the mundane repetitive task of editing large numbers of digital images.
This latest release now includes added support for opening images in various RAW and CMYK formats. Image Genius Professional can now handle a wider range of file formats, increasing its flexibility and helping to satisfy customer needs. In addition Image Genius Professional’s versatility has been further enhanced by allowing any unsupported digital file formats to be processed by any third party program that can be run on the command-line. Furthermore Image Genius Professional can now import data from an external SQL Server database and populate various variables particular to the operations that form a pipeline. Other version improvements driven by customer feedback includes the enhanced support for 64 bit operating systems, additional printing support to enable and print to local or network printers, improvements to the colour picking dialog, improved FTP support, the addition of position settings to the background operation, and a countdown processing timer to inform the user of the time remaining until the current processing task is complete.
