Bühler Motor and Dornier Technologie create the Next Generation Seat Actuation System

Nuremberg, 28th March 2013 – Bühler Motor and Dornier Technologie are proud to announce their collaboration in creating the Next Generation Aircraft Seat Actuation System. The new system, called PAXCOM, is an innovative new solution for integrated seat actuation for Business Class and First Class aircraft seats.

20% lower weight and 15% smaller size translate into substantial long term savings. Also, for the system itself, the developers succeeded in slashing the cost by 10% competitively. All this could be achieved without any compromises in quality and functionality. Quite to the contrary: Additional improvements like a 30% noise reduction are bound to expand passenger comfort even further.

At Aircraft Interiors Expo Hamburg, Bühler Motor and Dornier Technologie will unveil the new system for the very first time (Booth 6A81).
