For vertical placement, one can hang the sample in dedicated rods equipped inside the test chamber. Once placed the chamber is closed using a specially designed lid. The lid has an angular design that allows the salt steam droplets to fall not on the sample but slip to the edges of the chamber body.

Further, the machine has a special salt fog developer unit that is linked to a salt solution tank from which it can automatically take the liquid to create a salt mist or spray. Also, for testing reasons, there is a fog collector equipped that helps in extracting the fog in between the tests. So that if required the user can test the composition of the salt mist running or the ph level.

In addition to this safety controls like automated heat alert etc. adds to the high-end technology. All this is controlled by a microprocessor-based digital control panel in the digital version.
