‘The Chants‘ Invite Others to the 20th Annual World Sound Healing Day on February 14th, 2022

February 14th, 2022 is the 20th Annual World Sound Healing Day.

On this day, many thousands of people all over our planet will be creating Healing Sounds encoded with the intention of Love & Compassion for our beloved Mother Earth, with the intention of raising the consciousness of all sentient beings.

The Chants band is inviting others to join in on this special day dedicated to helping heal our planet through sound and music.

The purpose of World Sound Healing Day is to:

1). Heal Our Planet
2). Heal Our Waters
3). Raise Our Consciousness

The mission of ‘The Chants’ is to create a community of like-minded people unified around indigenous-inspired chanting and movement.

The Chants have created a sound designed to empower and give a voice to people in a visual journey from the present, to the past, and through the future.

"The time is now to come together in our communities to heal our struggles and to heal our earth.

In watching our videos, imagine that you are being called by this ancient sound and rhythm to unite from wherever you are both physically and metaphorically to dance and sing with your fellow brothers and sisters.

This is the medicine, the secret ingredient we need to thrive into the future. We can heal our world through sound and the music that moves us."

Together we will be contributing to a co-created evolutionary vibrational field of Global Harmonization, planetary peace, and healing for our planet.

The Chants band came alive in Topanga Canyon in 2020 and originated with Jamie Papish, 30-year Topanga resident and world-renowned music percussionist and songwriter, and Kevin Fraser, reggae/rock singer, songwriter and percussionist. They shared a vision of moving people by layering simple chants to sing and infectious rhythms to dance to.

Feeling they also needed the feminine balance of vocals and energy to complete the group, they recruited longtime friends and fellow musicians, Dawn Marie Yurkovic and Renette Jobst. Together, they birthed a fusion of sound and imagery inspired by the celebration of primitive chanting mixed with percussion instruments and rhythms of the world.
