Russell Bedford firm RBSM combines with Sherb & Co

RBSM LLP, the New York member of the Russell Bedford CPA firm network, has acquired the accounting practice of Sherb & Co LLP based in New York and Boca Raton, Florida. The combined firm will operate under the RBSM LLP name.

As a result of the acquisition, RBSM’s partner group has expanded with the addition of Howard Brodman and Manny Tzagarakis. Peter Stefanou will continue as the firm's managing partner.

Howard Brodman is a tax partner and the firm's director of taxation. He is a member of the New York State Society of CPAs and is admitted to the New York State Bar Association.

Manny Tzagarakis is an audit partner with over 15 years of experience in auditing public and private companies. He is a licensed CPA in the State of New York and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the New York State Society of CPAs.

Steve Sherb, the former principal owner of Sherb & Co LLP, has been retained as a consultant to the combined firm.

RBSM has been a member of Russell Bedford International since 2000.
