new product in the portfolio of Neuerpuls: the "Kulturträger"

An ambitioned and creative culture- project. Creating a new and young cultural Image for Stuttgart: the "Kulturträger"
The “Kulturträger” itself:
The “Kulturträger” consists of four components which will be offered all together in a stylish package to the consumer:
1. Audio CD
2. Magazine
3. Culture Extra
4. Arm bracelet
Audio CD:
In August 2007, Neuerpuls will start to promote the product “Kulturträger” to Musicians, Artists etc. and try to convince them to apply for the Audio CD and the project “Kulturträger”. From all incoming applications, 20 artists of the local area of Stuttgart will then have the chance to give a sample of their talent on an Audio CD with one track. The artists which will be able to represent themselves on the Audio CD are chosen by a Jury which consists of professionals like Musicians, Music Producers, and Audio CD Sales Manager. These jury members work for popular, or at least known German companies. The Jury plays also an important role for guaranteeing a qualitative valuable product.
Magazine:
Those artists which have successfully applied for the Audio CD will be additionally represented in a Magazine. But also all other artists which have applied for the project “Kulturträger” but have not been chosen by the Jury to give a sample on the Audio CD will have the chance to represent themselves at least in the magazine. The presentation of the artists in the magazine will include bios, possible tour dates, information, addresses and self-made portraits of the artists. Besides that, also the media partners will get some space for their promotional intention, as a return for their reporting about the “Kulturträger”. The Magazine will be produced in one edition, as it is linked to the “Kulturträger” and its components.
Culture Extra:
Artists and cultural institutions (such as theatres, operas) can put coupons in a separate to the Magazine integrated small Leporello. The Leporello consists of three to four coupons from artists/ institutions and three postcards, which were designed from two famous painters of Stuttgart. Additionally, the “Culture Extra” offers the consumer also a gamble play: Artists and companies can offer a product/ service which can be won by the “Kulturträger” consumer through a lottery.
A coupon in the “Culture Extra” could offer for example: "Have a coffee with the artist xx in the cantina of the Stuttgart Opera". Another option is, "use the toilet of the galery store oo and have a nice chat with the artist pp".
The postcards are designed to spread the idea of the “Kulturträger” also to other cities. The postcards are individual, very kitschy and stylish formed eye catchers: Flamingos bathing in the sun near the Museum of Fine Art, while a cowboy is riding his horse down the street--> animation.
The “Extra Culture” was designed to make the consumer do something with the “Kulturträger”, to become active and involved.
Chain Bracelet:
Neuerpuls tries to create a younger image for the culture in Stuttgart. It proposes to do that by combining the coupons of the “Extra Culture” with the chain bracelet which serves as a certificate to the coupons. If a consumer wants to convert a coupon, he needs to wear the chain bracelet, or at least have it with him. The aim of the client is to spread the idea of the “Kulturträger” through the culture affine people (the consumers of the “Kulturträger”) themselves. The “Kulturträger” needs to get trendy, so Neuerpuls` intention.
All in one, a very creative and ambitioned new product.
Neuerpuls is still seeking for Partners in the media, and economic sector.

For instance, there was an international Band Contest, called “Ten-Sero” which has been organized for the second time now in Freiburg and a national Congress for Culture, also annual organized since 2005.
The “Ten-Sero” Band Contest was established to provide a platform to newcomer bands from Germany and Europe to play live in front of an audience. On three days, bands from different European cities played in direct competition to win a record of their newest songs in a sound studio. The contest was attended by the regional press and major labels of the audio carrier industry. Also international musicians supported the idea of “Ten-Sero”. This event laid the foundation stone to a well working network to the music industry in Germany and for the later development of Neuerpuls. With contacts to one of the biggest Music Companies in the world, BMG, Neuerpuls can profit from advantages concerning the distribution and reputation for its products and works.
More than 160 Newcomer Bands have applied for the “Ten-Sero” Band Contest since its first year in 2005. The Ten-Sero Band Contest plays a more and more important role in the music
scene in southwest Germany. Also in the year 2007, the “Ten-Sero” Band contest will take place. It will then run for the first time under the flag of Neuerpuls GbR.
Also the “Kulturkongress” will be continued by the owners of Neuerpuls. The congress for culture had been originated to create a platform for young students of creative management studies, such as arts management or communication management. The purpose of this congress is to link the students of the aforementioned subjects and to create a network of young creative people. Besides getting to know students from other universities and institutions from all over in Germany, the congress was also accompanied by several workshops from Industry Experts and Professors from Universities. The students could choose from a varying list of workshops and subjects where they wanted to improve their knowledge. In addition to the workshops, also presentations of professionals and young students were held. The congress was sponsored through the local economy and financed through an application fee for participants of this congress.
The next “Kulturkongress” is planned for November 2007, and might take place for the first time in its short history in the eastern part of Germany.
