Last week users and developers from all across Europe witnessed a success story at the recently concluded "High Tech Test" hosted by the Design Terminal Event Hall in Budapest, Hungary.

High Tech Test is an interactive testing ground for tech companies to get their products in the hands of users and developers from across Europe but for iLandGuide, the event was a perfect laboratory to gain feedback about their product and evaluate the user experience.

Attendees, students, young professionals, and investors and 2OO other participants got the chance to get acquainted with the newest innovations of the IT industry, including the iLandGuide mobile app, the crowd favourite!

iLandGuide is an all-in-one travel guide application for visitors to tropical islands. The app has a wide range of practical features, from the detailed map, through the up-to-date events and promotion database, to the special discounts off all the businesses mentioned in the app.

Visitors were able to participate in an eye-tracking test of the app which allowed the iLandGuide team to collect user statistics and obtain accurate feedback about the User Interface of the app. This information also helped the team to identify the most eye-catching features of their marketing materials which are used to promote the app in destinations worldwide. The company could collect many small ideas on how to improve their product in the future, what do the tourists really like to see in a holiday guide application.

Based on the user feedback, the most popular feature of the app is that it works 100% offline - which can save a lot of money for the users who won’t have to pay any roaming fees once they download the app to their iPhone or Android.
