Waterproof Electrical Connectors for the Diving and Waste Industry
Waterproof electrical connectors specifically produced for the sewer and waste water industries, incorporating a grippable serration allowing for handling and unplugging in slippery and wet conditions.Norfolk, UK, February 28, 2013 -- SEA CON® are exhibiting at the Pumper and Cleaner Expo being held at the Indiana Convention Center, Indianapolis, USA from the 25th – 28th February. The Expo brings together specialists from environmental service industries and over 4,000 septic, sewer and drain companies.
SEA CON®’s Rubber Molded Connector with Integral Gripper is a waterproof electrical connector specifically produced for the sewer and waste water industries. It is a variation of SEA CON®’s standard Rubber Molded waterproof electrical connector range but incorporates a grippable serration allowing for handling and unplugging in slippery and wet conditions.
KEY FEATURES
• Easy mate and demate even with wet and contaminated hand. Small in size, inexpensive, ideally suited for the sewer and water treatment industries.Various sizes available from single contact up to 12 contacts, available with pins and sockets reversed to avoid mismating
DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS
• Max working pressure 20,000psi (mated), temperature rating up to 60°, voltage rating 600 VDC – contact factory for higher voltage requirements. Current rating – dependent upon cable requirements.
APPLICATIONS
• Sewer inspection, underwater lighting, communications, ROV’s, Thermistor arrays Hydrophone arrays, all types of sonar systems
