NEW PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT: 11Giraffes® Unveils Android MX1 Media Player and Android Software

Charlotte, North Carolina – 11Giraffes®, smart business media and digital signage software solutions, introduces its latest product offering, the Android MX1 Media Player. Available for well under $100, and with a footprint of only 3.8” x 1.6” x 0.4”, this version of 11Giraffes signature media player is perfect for many applications where single zone digital signage is required and client content is predominantly in the form of video and images.

The MX1 was designed as a low cost option for supporting multiple locations in the digital signage market and is an ideal choice to display branded video and images, real-time weather, news, financial market details and sports scores. The plug-and-play platform is an optimal solution for presenting end cap retail displays at an affordable price. The MX1 supports high-definition playback of client uploaded video and imagery, media created using select 11Giraffes templates, licensed video images provided within the 11Giraffes solution, and RSS news, weather, financial, sports and related data available on 11Giraffes platform.

Extensive scheduling features include allowing content to be scheduled by time, date, day-of-week, weather condition, immediate weather or civil alert, by location or among a group of locations, and even by metadata tag. No complex installation process is necessary.

The Android media player software is also available for other media players, tablets, phones, set-top-boxes or enabled-TVs running Android version 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) or higher.
