Master Data Management with Xcitec®

Poor data quality, uneven information, redundant data sets and data management with different systems – these pose an immense challenge for many companies. Xcitec® has expanded its software suite and now offers centralized supplier master data management (MDM).

Companies can manage their data centrally using Xcitec® software and distribute this data within multiple systems throughout the entire company. When new data is generated or updated, this is automatically forwarded to all ERP systems and any additional back-end systems. Companies thereby profit from uniform and consistent master data. Data management and update can either be managed centrally by the company or directly by the supplier together with the supplier questionnaire.

Xcitec® central master data management supports process consistency between operative and strategic purchasing. The results from strategic purchasing are forwarded directly to the operative systems. For example, block indicators can be set for poorly rated suppliers or as part of measures for supplier base reduction. This makes sure that the results of strategic processes are integrated into operative purchasing.
