Award-winning Fusion Cross goes into series production

From February 11 to 15, 2013, the Hunkeler Innovationdays will provide an information platform for decision-makers from the print industry at Lucerne’s exhibition site. As part of this event, BÖWE SYSTEC's innovative high-performance inserting system Fusion Cross will be awarded as “Product of the Year 2012” by the German trade journal Postmaster-Magazin. At the same time, the Hunkeler Innovationdays are set to mark the launch of series production of the Fusion Cross.

BÖWE SYSTEC’s presence at the Hunkeler Innovationdays 2013 is much characterized by the Fusion Cross: The leading mailroom specialist’s innovative high-performance inserting system will be presented in a special configuration for processing continuous forms in combination with a Hunkeler unwinder for the first time. Live demonstrations will give industry visitors the chance to see for themselves how intuitively and simply the Fusion Cross is operated, thanks to the accompanying BÖWE Cockpit software. They will also be able to get to know the wide range of options provided by the smart navigation platform Orbiter for the simple configuration of even extremely complex workflows throughout the mailroom.

The Fusion Cross succeeded in convincing another target group of its unique qualities a few weeks in advance of the fair: The readers of Germany’s document and mail processing trade journal Postmaster-Magazin elected the new inserting machine “Product of the Year 2012” within the category “Mailroom and Mailing”. The Hunkeler Innovationdays will provide the perfect setting for the award presentation, which will take place at the BÖWE SYSTEC booth on February 14, in the immediate vicinity of the award-winning machine. The event is also set to mark the launch of series production of the Fusion Cross, which has already proved its value in a number of pilot installations.
