Free Medical & Labour Welfare Camp by MIW Foundation with Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd.

MIW foundation with support of Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd. has organized a Free Medical & Labour Welfare Camp on 29th January,2013 held at Army Welfare Housing Organisation, Sector 95, Gurgaon, Haryana.

Dr. Harish Yadav, Dr.Sumanth Parsad, Dr.Chinmaya B.R., Dr.Shourya Tandon, Dr. Sachin Chand, Dr.Sonal Dhingra, Dr.Suchi Khurana from SGT Medical & Dental College; Doctors from Vasan Eye Care Hospital and Civil Hospital, Gurgaon, Haryana participated in the Camp.

The Camp was inaugurated by Mr.Vikram B Sharma, Managing Director, Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd. ,Mr.Vikas B Sharma, Director, Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd. and was honoured by the presence of Col. BalaChandran G., Project Director, AWHO; Mr.Parminder Duhan, Project Co-ordinator, Ramprastha, Col. J.M Pathak, GM, Ramprastha Project and Mr.Ashish Bhutani, Managing Trustee, MIW Foundation.

The Camp was organised to provide Medical Relief which included free general medical consultation, ENT consultation, eye check-ups, dental clinic, distribution of free medicines etc. The camp also addressed special issues like malnutrition, awareness on hygiene, importance of timely vaccination of children etc. The activity proved beneficial to around 350 people

Another highlight of the Camp was that it organised a Labour Registration Helpdesk where in assistance was provided to labourers for their registration under Labour Welfare Scheme of Government of Haryana which entitles them for various benefits under the said scheme.Many people benefited from this camp wherein they got free medical relief and availed facility of Labour Registration Helpdesk.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr.Ashish Bhutani, Managing Trustee of MIW Foundation said, “We have organised a unique Free Medical and Labour Welfare Camp providing Medical Relief to poor and for the first time we have organised a Labour Registration Helpdesk, an innovative way to help labour group to benefit from the on-going Labour Welfare Schemes of the Government of Haryana.He further said MIW Foundation is working on many other social activities and projects with the main objective of welfare of general public.”

Mr.Vikas B Sharma, Director of Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd. expressed his gratitude towards MIW Foundation for conducting a camp wherein people not only benefitted from the medical services rendered by doctors from leading government and private hospitals but also got benefit from the Labour Registration Helpdesk which enabled registration of labour group so that they can benefit from the welfare schemes run byGovt. of Haryana for these people.

He further stated that he and Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd would always like to be part of such noble cause and would keep supporting such activities in the future as well.
