Carl Michael McCurley Named to D Magazine’s 2012 ‘Best Lawyers’ List

DALLAS – Attorney Carl Michael McCurley, founder and name partner in the Dallas Family Law firm of McCurley Orsinger McCurley Nelson & Downing, L.L.P., once again has earned selection to D Magazine’s annual list of “The Best Lawyers in Dallas.”

“The biggest compliment a lawyer can receive is a referral from a happy client,” Mr. McCurley says. “But the second biggest compliment is recognition from our colleagues in the legal profession, so I’m gratified to be included among such great company on D Magazine’s list.”

The D Magazine list is compiled from nominations submitted by Dallas’ leading attorneys, who are asked to identify the attorneys whose work they most admire. After receiving the nominations, an independent panel of lawyers works with the magazine’s executive editor to finalize the list.

In addition to being included on the D Magazine list, Mr. McCurley is also regularly included on the Texas Super Lawyers list, and was recognized by Worth magazine as one of the Top 100 attorneys in the country. Town & Country magazine also named him “America's Top Divorce Lawyer.”

Mr. McCurley is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a former president of the prestigious American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
