MASCOT launches a comprehensive workwear range suitable for craftsmen and industry. The new two-tone workwear is available in 8 colour combinations, 14 product variants and different fabric qualities providing countless opportunities for variation in MASCOT's new line of workwear, launching February 2013.

Designed in 2012 for future tradesmen
The first generation of two-toned workwear was launched by ​​MASCOT in the late 1990s. Now it’s time for a new generation, where the detailed design and fit suits both 2012 and the craftsmen of the future. MASCOT® UNIQUE is made with continuous user feedback, so that new tools, the use of smartphones and altered movement patterns are all integrated into the new workwear.

The goal - ultimate comfort
A number of test wearers across Europe have tested the clothing for some time in their daily work. According to the results of wearer trials, MASCOT® UNIQUE offers the highest comfort on the market. "At the end of the day, comfort is a personal thing and varies but we can, during development, do much to help the good comfort along the way," said CEO of MASCOT, Michael Grosbøl. He explains: "The right fabric quality, specially designed fit and advanced stitch detailing contribute to optimum comfort. We wanted to create the best possible comfort in MASCOT® UNIQUE, whatever the challenges - and we have not compromised at any time throughout the range" said Michael Grosbøl.

Workwear from eucalyptus
A unique and durable fabric with containing Tencel® has been specially selected for users who require a lot from their workwear. Tencel® is developed from eucalyptus, a natural fiber. In addition to being extra soft, it is moisture-wicking and temperature controlling. Tencel® is actually 50% more absorbent than cotton and thus provides extra comfort. At the same time, the products have all the good qualities of polyester - wear resistance, dimensional stability and durability wash after wash. The mixture of Tencel® and polyester combines the best properties of two materials.

Newly developed features
New features help contribute to a comfortable working day, such as newly developed knee pads that will always stay in place. New pockets with manual partitioning and an extra gusset inside of the leg contribute to increased freedom of movement and flexibility.

Certified workwear
MASCOT® UNIQUE Products have been tested to industrial laundry norm EN ISO 15797 (Hohenstein Institute), and therefore made ​​to withstand the wear that the industrial washing and drying process entails.Europe's industrial employees require light and soft clothing. MASCOT has chosen a durable twill material as well as purpose-designed features specific for industrial employees. For example, all buttons and zippers are hidden, so they will not scratch or scrape against other objects; especially important for employees in the automotive, furniture and engineering industries.

In addition, all fabrics are Oeko-Tex certified. MASCOT® UNIQUE is workwear with a clear conscience. MASCOT® UNIQUE is produced in MASCOT’s own factory in Vietnam, which is SA 8000 certified. SA 8000 is the most recognized international standard for social responsibility. When a supplier has this certification, the consumer can be sure that the products are manufactured under good and safe employee conditions.
