Personnel Announcement: Kernow Coatings Strengthens Management

Kernow Coatings appoints Arnoud Mekenkamp as Channel Manager for Europe and Asia

Kernow Coatings, a leading manufacturer of OEM-certified printable digital synthetic papers, appoints Arnoud Mekenkamp as Channel Manager, effective December 01. As Sales Manager for Europe and Asia, his role is to define and implement his strategy to increase European and Asian sales of wide and narrow format materials. He will pay particular attention to managing and developing the sales network for wide and narrow formats in Asia, as well as international business development in other potential business areas.

Arnoud Mekenkamp looks back on a successful sales and management record of more than thirty years. He is experienced in commercialization of wide-format print media, production, sales, marketing and distribution, and has extensive expertise in the Asian business due to previous sales functions at well-known companies such as ILFORD and Neschen & Heytex.

Arnoud was responsible for the successful transition of combining and coordinating the legendary photographic media brand ILFORD with paper pioneer and proofing media leader Tecco. After being appointed Managing Director of the companies in April 2014, Arnoud achieved his task of consolidation in just five years. He then returned to Heytex, where he successfully drove the development of innovative products for future applications and markets. He has held management positions with well-known companies in the graphic arts industry, recently as Managing Director at ILFORD/Tecco and as Business Development Manager at Heytex.

Arnoud was born in Haarlem in 1968: He lives with his wife Simone and his daughters Isa, Mies and Puck in Vriezenveen, the Netherlands.
