Bournemouth hotel receives national recognition for food quality
Town centre hotel receives AA rosetteThe Hermitage Hotel, Bournemouth, is proud to announce that it has recently received an AA rosette in recognition of the food available at its restaurant. Located less than a minute from the world famous Bournemouth Beach, it is one of a handful of hotels in Bournemouth to receive the prestigious award.
“Our head chef Francis Baumer came to us from a local restaurant which he had helped build over a number of years. The restaurant grew rapidly due the quality of the dishes produced, so when we were able to welcome him to the Hermitage Hotel, it was a real coup for us” says General Manager, Steven Moss. “Within a few months arriving, we knew that the quality of our food was worthy of a rosette, so to receive the award is confirmation of what we already believed.”
The Hermitage Hotel has probably the best location of all Bournemouth hotels and is located minutes from the town centre, beach and BIC. The AA rosette recognition follows on from other awards that have been presented to the hotel. The hotel also boasts an AA 3 star merit and quality score of 81%, one of the highest percentages awarded to any hotel in Bournemouth.
Steven continues “When the current management took over the hotel, ten years ago, the hotel needed a lot of attention and investment to make it an enjoyable place to stay. During the last few years, the whole team has worked together to not only improve the general standard throughout the hotel, but also to ensure that all of our visitors to Bournemouth, receive a warm welcome at every point of their stay.”
The hotel caters for a wide variety of events each year and regularly hosts weddings, business conferences and Masonic weekends, as well as catering for large group bookings during the Policial party conference season.
The Hermitage Hotel in Bournemouth is situated minutes from Bournemouth's beautiful beaches and gardens. Described as 'A treasure among Bournemouth's hotels' the Hermitage offers convenience of being directly opposite the Pier, Central Gardens and the BIC Conference Centre. The hotel boasts sea view rooms, an award winning restaurant and accommodation for up to 74 guests, with ample free parking.
