Bizzy Fizz Bath Treats Adds Some Luxury to GBK’s Golden Globes Gifting Suite

The unique bath and body line of Macomb, Michigan based designers Laura and Skylar Bisel, owners of Bizzy Fizz Bath Treats, will be showcased at the official 2013 GBK Golden Globes Gift Lounge in Beverly Hills, California on January 11-12.

December 17, 2012 - The luxury bath and body brand of Bizzy Fizz Bath Treats is owned by the mother and son team of Laura and Skylar Bisel and is best known for their flair in creating exceptional handcrafted bath treats. At the Golden Globes Gift Lounge they will showcase some of their most popular designs, including two new whipped sugar scrubs which were created especially for the event. Celebrities and VIPs will be gifted an exclusive bath treat called "All The World's A Stage" and a bottle of citrus scented Afterglow lotion. "The original idea we came up with was to give each celebrity a Golden Globe of their own. The bath treats look like the earth and are wrapped with a film strip," noted Skylar, the Creative Director of the company. "We made them with a special core that colors the bath water ocean blue and then releases little film confetti. It's really cool!"

For the Golden Globes Gift Lounge, the team spent three months designing and bringing to life 100 of these exclusive designs along with a special display piece. "It was so much work, planning, and stress to make this happen, especially heading into the holidays. Although honestly, I would absolutely go through it all again," laughed Laura Bisel, mother of Skylar and CEO of the family venture. "We are so excited that we were offered the Golden Globes opportunity and honored that the celebrities will be getting a special piece from us. It's amazing that handcrafted artists like us are getting so much support from Hollywood."

In addition to being selected for the Golden Globes Gift Lounge, the Bizzy Fizz team have had their luxury products chosen for giftings to actresses Vanessa Lachey and Alison Sweeney. "Now we're bringing Bizzy Fizz to the people we get to watch on TV and movies! I know they are going to love them," says Skylar with a smile.

Bizzy Fizz Bath Treats was created in 2004 by the brilliant mind of a six year old boy. A homeschool science project of studying chemistry and reactions led us to create our very first bath fizzy. Skylar loved it so much that he started dreaming of all the different kinds he could make, ingredients, surprises he could tuck inside...his mind was exploding with names and ideas. It didn't take me long to realize there was no stopping him! I agreed to help produce his vision, and he started to give our fizzies away as gifts. Everyone he gave them to loved them, and soon began to request more and more of them. They all loved our fizzies so much that Skylar decided to make a business out of it. So, not wanting to squash his dream, I decided to put our little company together. He came up with the name, and Bizzy Fizz Bath Treats was born.

We spent a year researching and perfecting our ingredients and technique, and after many months of development and trial and error, we made it happen. The response has been incredible! We are very fortunate to be able to create a family business where we can work together, and really have fun at the same time. It has been a great experience to watch Skylar grow with the company and I am SO PROUD of all we have accomplished. We look forward to many more years of creating, growing, and fizzing!!
