WOMEN OF COLOR IN PHARMA (WOCIP) TO HIGHLIGHT PROJECT H.E.R. – Honor, Empower and Rise PANELISTS ON SERIES OF UPCOMING JOTYME FITNESS PODCASTS HOSTED BY 4-TIME OLYMPIAN JOETTA
(November 12, 2021, ALLENTOWN, PA/SOMERSET, NJ/NEW YORK) November marks the 5th Annual WOCIP Conference (November 11-14, 2021) and this year’s event will be a virtual experience. The theme “Project H.E.R. – Honor, Empower and Rise” will offer Round Tables, Curated Workshops, Corporate Panels and a 3D Exhibit Hall or (Virtual Exhibit Booth) lead by and featuring outstanding women of color in pharma. The 4-day conference began on Thursday evening with a State of the WOCIP address by MUSE Experiences Founder, Kimberly Waters. In-person and virtual experiences continue today and culminate on Saturday, November 13th with a lineup of special Career Connections workshops lead by Keynote Speaker, Joetta, who will address college students who are considering a future in the Pharmaceutical and Life Science industries.Leaders, panelists, and hosts from the 5th Annual WOCIP Conference will be featured in a multi-part series of Be Extraordinary Podcasts hosted by 4-Time Star Olympian, Joetta and Retired Fire Fighter and First Responder, Tyrone Johnson.
“WOCIP aligns with my passion to empower plus promote personal and professional development among women. This opportunity has allowed me to positively impact the lives of women of color across the globe,” Jacqueline Gerena, Director of Professional Development, and Cultural Lead of WOCIP.
Author and motivational speaker, Joetta, continues “WOCIP is a huge network of hard-working and educated women who are using their God-given talent and skills to foster advancements in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.

The show airs at 4:30 pm CT and 5:30 pm EST on Wednesdays via zoom link https://bit.ly/BeExtraordinaryPodcast and Facebook Live (@JoTymeFitness) and hosted by US Track and Field Hall of Famer, Joetta, and First Responder & Retired Fire Fighter, Tyrone Johnson. Together they share motivating life experiences and bring inspiration as well as education to discussions such as diversity, inclusion, fitness & well-being and protecting your mental and physical health. The show, which began airing in July of 2021 has a large following with viewers who “check-in” weekly on air.
