New Girbau manager of sales and technical service in Spain

Vic (Barcelona), November 23rd - Girbau has appointed Juan Ruiz as Country Manager in Spain. Ruiz, with extensive experience in business management in different companies, will be responsible for sales and technical service in Spain, as well as for developing the corresponding marketing policies.
The new Country Manager will also coordinate the Girbau branch offices in Spain, a responsibility that Martí Bargalló is relinquishing in order to take on the management of the group’s subsidiaries in the Dominican Republic and Portugal, and to manage the major accounts of Spanish-speaking clients.
The group’s Sales, marketing and service vice-president, Toni Rubiés, has stated that "the purpose of reorganising the commercial area is to further enhance effectiveness in the implementation of the group’s strategy, both on a Spanish level and internationally with the creation of key accounts".
The changes were announced during the recent Iberia Convention that took place at Girbau’s headquarters in Vic (Barcelona) from the 19th to 21st of November, and which brought together the sales team for Spain, Portugal and Andorra.
During the Convention, tribute was paid to various historical members of the Girbau sales team: Pere Ausió, Sales Manager, who retires after 51 years with the company; Pedro Hernández, who is retiring after 40 years; and German Martin, from Macrun in Andalusia, after 33 years of association with the brand.
The sales team expressed its unanimous satisfaction with the new line of Ecodryer dryers, and gave an enthusiastic response to the talk given by the adventurer and entrepreneur Albert Bosch, who encouraged the participants to bring strategic capacity, physical and mental endurance, perseverance, teamwork and the capacity for reaction to their work in order to confront and carry out major challenges and projects.
