New NFT designed to represent a North Texas Movement of Positivity

For Immediate Release- Marcus "M-Positive" Parker announces his new digital artwork called "16 years, First Cover". This NFT represents Parker's 16 years of service to the school community of North Texas where he has resided for the last 20 years. He began writing motivational books in 2004 with the release of his autobiographical/self-help book called “The Product”. Since that time, he has written over 50 motivational rap songs, 3 more books, and performed at detention centers, high schools, places of worship, bookstores, etc., mostly all of which have happened in North Texas (DFW metroplex) area. Since then, he has been through many ups and downs in life, including bankruptcies, foreclosures, repossessions, and even a federal indictment for real estate dealings.
His early success as a semiconductor electronics technician landed him in the DFW area in 1999 after serving 4 years in the US Air Force stationed in San Antonio. His efforts won him great gains in the stock market as the tech boom of the late 90s, but after losing his stock fortune after the 9/11 stock crash, he decided to pursue something more positive: spreading positivity through music by creating motivational rap songs with inspirational messages for any occasion. Parker's NFT site on the Open Sea platform features over two dozen pieces of digital artwork, short animations, and pictures from his journey that he's minted as NFTs.

"This was a speaking engagement from 2006," Parker said, showing one of his creations to us with excitement in voice while being interviewed on Spectrum News Dallas earlier this year. Between the years 2004 through 2020 Marcus says he would sell books outside of local restaurants and events as well as speak at local schools. It’s because of the pictures inside the NFT showing different moments from this time frame that he thinks it will be a great investment for someone looking to cash in on the future. He has dedicated years to improving youth & communities through motivational speaking, music & books. His desire has always been to serve as an inspiration for those who may feel hopeless no matter their race, gender, or socioeconomic status. Although, it seemed as if his efforts were rarely acknowledged, Parker sends much love to the Elite News Dallas who actually allowed him to grace the cover of a legendary North Texas urban newspaper. In a world filled with images that tend to lean more to the negative, Marcus’ life efforts show that there are still people willing to take the road less traveled. Parker thought what a cool way to show love to all of the participating venues that have showed him love, but by putting together an NFT that showed the journey with pictures. He also spotlights his time at the University of North Texas where he graduated with honors from their BAAS program. He still plans to produce a movie that he is still working on which he says will be similar to an Antwone Fischer movie.

Marcus “M-Positive” Parker is an author, and motivational poet who still occasionally speaks at schools teaching motivation, determination, and work-readiness skills. He is an Air Force veteran who is married with 4 children. He holds a BAAS from the University of North Texas, he is also a certified life coach who holds a certificate in Rehabilitation Studies as well.
