Bungalo Records' The Bar-Kays Chart National Hit Record With Release of Grown Folks
The Bar-kays have officially released their first physical CD in over a decade and their first CD released through the Universal Music Group Distribution family by the way of Bungalo Records. The initial CD has sold over 50% of the total shipment in less than 30 days, a sales record for the Barkays and a record for a Bungalo Records Official Recording Artist.
All star appearances related to the upcoming music launch are soon to be announced with the Bar-Kays currently preparing to embark on a 50 city world tour first quarter of 2013.

The Bar-Kays’ music continues to prove itself timeless with NBC’s Today Show saluting “Freak Show” as Hoda Kotb’s and Kathy Lee Gifford’s favorite dance tracks to start their mornings. The Bar-Kays are preparing to kick off a global tour coming to a city near you playing the classic favorites as well as debuting their new release, “Grown Folks’.
