Contec Controls Automatic Boiler Control

Derbyshire firm Contec Heat Controls launch a limited supply of their new automatic boiler control which can save up to 20% of heating bills once fitted to a central heating boiler.

After extensive testing with British Gas, a leading Pub Company, and Northampton & Nottingham Universities the automatic boiler control from Contec Heat Controls has now been launched in Derbyshire.

Managing Director Anthony Broderick says “With the continual increases in energy bills for both commercial and domestic consumers alike, a product aimed at reducing energy bills is finally available and affordable with most consumers whose fuel consumption exceeds £1,000 seeing a return on the investment within 12 months”.

The automatic boiler control works once fitted alongside the controls of a gas or oil fired boiler either in an office, factory or home. Once the heating system is up to temperature, it works by interrupting the firing sequence of the boiler. Radiators continue to emit heat for several minutes after a boiler is disengaged. Contec takes advantage of this, and by re-igniting the boiler before the radiators cool, they maintain 95% heat output, save up to 20% fuel, and maintain target temperatures.

Justin (a British Gas engineer) says "Contec was fitted to an Ideal Logic 35 Combi, A Rated condensing boiler. – Saved 20 – 25% Fuel consumption".

This product looks set to revolutionise the energy market especially in the light of recent energy price increases. It is less expensive than other competing products, only takes an hour to install, and works away unnoticed.
