Munich/Ismaning, 14. November 2012 –Secardeo GmbH has improved its free certificate server on certBox.org and has connected more than 80 PKI directories. Here you can find certificates of millions of users and more than 300 Root-CAs. By this, certBox.org is the leading platform for searching and publishing of digital certificates.
This certificate server solves the fundamental problem of encryption: The provisioning of the needed public keys. On certBox.org a user may comfortably search for X.509 certificates or PGP keys and he may publish his own certificates. Searching may be done simply with a web browser or it can be executed automatically when using an e-mail application like Outlook.
It is also possible to connect a popular secure e-mail gateway without efforts. The search requests may be served locally or they can be forwarded efficiently to the attached certificate directories. The access to user data is protected by sophisticated security mechanisms.
