GreenTek Reman becomes Asia-Pacific’s 1st R2v3 Certified Company
An R2v3 certification, granted by SERI, expands on the requirements of several different areas, such as data protection, testing, repairing, environmental responsibility, and new opportunities for companies specializing in specific recycling processes.
It is the evolved form of the R2 Standard, the leading global certification standard for the electronics reuse and recycling industry. Before upgrading to the R2v3 certification, GreenTek Reman also had the R2 Standard certification.
A Brief About R2v3 Certification
An R2v3 certified company goes through the rigorous audit process for "The Sustainable Electronics Reuse & Recycling (R2) Standards", covering the below measures:
1. Ensuring proper Data Sanitization (Logical and Physical)
2. Verified and Trusted Downstream Recycling Chain.
3. Meeting all Test & Repair Parameters.
4. Metal Recovery, ensuring the least possible wastage.
5. Fully equipped and certified e-Waste management plant.
