Eastern Industrial Automation Acquires ISO 9001: 2008 Certification
Eastern Industrial Automation (EIA) is pleased to announce that the company has achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification for manufacturing and servicing after meeting all auditing requirements. Eastern Industrial Automation has been ISO certified for distribution since 1991. With this certification, the company looks forward to being able to serve more OEM clients in a much greater capacity.Eastern Industrial Automation is a global supplier of automation products, machine tool components, linear motion parts, bearing supplies, and more. EIA’s new ISO 9001:2008 certification applies to the company’s quality management system for industrial wholesale distribution, which according to Jonathon Brock, System Administrator – will greatly enhance the level of service and quality EIA can provide its customers. In addition, Eastern Industrial Automation has also completed the rigorous process for certification to design and build precision assemblies. This specific certification allows EIA to quote assemblies when the customer demands ISO 9001 certification of the assembly center.
Published through the International Organization for Standardization, the 9001:2008 certification pertains to quality management systems and is designed to identify organizations that consistently meet the needs of customers, while also fulfilling all statutory and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the ISO 9001:2008 certification also identifies businesses and organizations that have exhibited an aim to continually enhance satisfaction through the effective application and improvement of their quality management system.
