Cut-out stencils or use a pencil to draw the outline of the ghostly faces onto the gourds. Be sure the heavy side of the gourd is on top with the slim side where the mouth goes. Fill in the eyes, nose and mouth with black paint. These can sit on the ground alongside carved pumpkins or can be placed on tables or stairs.
