Enterprises of all sizes are starting to pay more attention to data and privacy security issues where the transfer of large files containing sensitive data poses a special security challenge. Email Encryption does not meet the challenge since mail systems usually have file size restrictions. The email encryption specialist was still the right place to turn to as many customers' requests had shown. The result is the brand new Z1 SecureHub. The first release 1.0 is a highly reliable and intuitively usable browser based solution that provides all general functions that are needed for secure file transfer. Upcoming features include Z1 SecureMail Gateway integration as well as email client (e.g. Outlook) and mobile device (Android, iOS etc.) plugins.
Z1 SecureHub provides an intuitively usable portal for the secure transfer of large files exceeding file size restrictions for email attachments (e.g. CAD-files, disc-images, presentations with graphics etc.). The portal works bidirectional which means users can send and receive large files in a secure and yet highly convenient manner. The administration panel provides configuration options for additional password encryption as well as individual quota and expire policy settings. Data and privacy compliance issues are settled with Z1 SecureHub. Transparency for users and administrators is provided with logging and monitoring reports as well as notifications confirming every file upload and download action.
Integration of the secure file transfer tool is flexible and administration is easy. Z1 SecureHub features a customizable user interface and APIs for integration in individual IT environments. It is available as pre-installed hardware appliance or virtual appliance. This operational flexibility makes Z1 SecureHub an affordable and very efficient solution for companies of all sizes. In contrast to file transfer solutions as cloud services, with Z1 SecureHub there is no third party involved who has access to the uploaded files.
