BOCA RATON, Fla. – On a balmy evening in October, more than 150 guests turned out for an elegant reception at One Thousand Ocean in Boca Raton. Billed as a “Celebration of Style,” the gathering was co-hosted by the iconic luxury condominium and Roche Bobois, the internationally renowned furniture company.

In addition to viewing two new two-story Beach Villas (one exquisitely furnished by Roche Bobois), guests experienced the offerings of several other luxury partners including Socialite Magazine, Champion Porsche, and couturier Ozcar G. More than $6 million in retro chic jewelry displayed by Marina B, stunningly clad fashion models, live music, and cocktails and culinary fare further contributed to upbeat vibe.

“All of these brands represent high style and share an extremely high-net-worth demographic. Each luxury partner invited their discerning ‘A-List’ clients who appreciate the very finest that life offers,” said Jamie Telchin, president of development for LXR Luxury Resorts & Hotels. An LXR affiliate developed the 52-unit One Thousand Ocean, which is located at the Boca Raton Inlet, adjacent to the Boca Raton Resort’s Beach Club. Now 87% sold, the modern, boutique building, has only seven residences remaining, the majority of which are ready for immediate occupancy. Some have an optional furniture package; others are completely customizable penthouses. Prices are from $3 million to $15 million.

“During the evening I was especially pleased to greet and meet a large group of Russians, which reflects the exciting cosmopolitan nature of South Florida. Many drove up from Miami to attend our event and appeared surprised to find such a great building in Boca,” Telchin added

“The Roche Bobois team, our in-house Designer Patrick Cabaroc and I were delighted to be part of what was an extremely qualitative event,” said Julien Bigan, general manager of Roche Bobois in Coral Gables. “Once again, our experience with One Thousand Ocean is making me very proud. In addition, the comments of numerous guests reinforce my conviction that our brand is very highly valued.”
