mamemo wins Khalifa Port mega-inauguration project
Two years after its highly successful conceptualization and management of the launch of Kizad, mamemo productions is proud to announce its appointment by Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC) to conceptualize and manage the official inauguration of Khalifa Port in the last quarter of 2012.Managing & Creative Director Sam Katiela leads a multinational team in conceptualizing and managing the full requirements of the event production, including the creation of the entire event concept, design of the entire event venue, conceptualization and management of the flow of the whole event and the development of the full program content.
The official launch of Khalifa Port will be highlighted by several original mamemo productions innovations that have never been seen before, including the VirtualLive Tour, a dramatic production that takes audiences around the powerful world of Khalifa Port through compelling video sequences shot on various locations inside the port enhanced by dynamic real time 3D animation.
“The Khalifa Port is a megaproject that will create an impact not only locally but internationally as well”, says Sam, “I want to capture the spirit and power of Khalifa Port by creating and designing a mega-show concept where everything will be unique, different and larger than life; from our originally designed huge visitors lounge to the state of the art theatre where we will showcase the VirtualLive Tour for the first time ever, and the grand reveal concept, where action meets performance. The whole show will bring the port closer to the people through experiences that will stay with them for a long time. ”
