Xaris Financial Enteprises Selected for Supplier Opportunities in Share the Green Initiative

[TRUSSVILLE, ALABAMA]—September 3, 2021—Financial Consulting Firm, Xaris Financial Enterprises has been selected for supplier opportunities as part of Waste Management’s Share the Green initiative.

Xaris Financial Enterprises was selected for Share the Green, an incubator program created by Waste Management to advance supplier diversity for women entrepreneurs in the corporate supply chain. Only 360 women-owned businesses from across the United States were selected for the program. Phase one consisted of a three-week educational incubator. In phase one, the participants had to submit a 90-second elevator pitch video to be considered for phase two. Those chosen for phase had the opportunity to pitch to over 65 major corporations, which were also sponsors of Share the Green. Only 190 of the 360 women-owned businesses were selected for phase two of the program.

Xaris Financial Enterprises advanced to phase two. Dr. JeFreda R. Brown, CEO, pitched during the two-day pitch presentations held on August 24-25, 2021. On August 26, 2021, Waste Management held a Women’s Equality Celebration Day event for the phase two participants and program sponsors. During the event, the women-owned companies selected by the sponsoring corporations for supplier opportunities were announced. Xaris Financial Enterprises was selected for supplier opportunities. Additionally, Xaris Financial Enterprises was one of only two Alabama women-owned businesses that were selected for phase two.
