The first generative D&D character NFT
The project started as a tool for D&D Dungeon Masters to created interesting NPCs for use in their tabletop roleplaying games’ campaign but has pivoted into minting beautiful NFTs on OpenSea.
Though the project has had some controversy within the D&D community;
twitter user @ExistentialOcto writes: “*crowd booing*” another, @Serbaayuu writes: “These are honestly some of the ugliest character sprites I've ever seen.” many have praised the project for it’s creative addition to tabletop gaming and the NFT marketplace.
@Robinh00dbets writes: “Hey, awesome to see a project with this level of planning. Haven't played some of these in years but this brings back some memories 😀” and another user @fatbill5000 writes: “I'm a big fan of Blade in the Dark and your NFT really has a vibe that matches the game's art style.” the jury still seems to be out on whether or not the project will be a success. When asked for comment Joseph Green the creator plainly said: “It’s unfortunate. I just have to ignore the hate from the communities I love so much and just keep creating more. At the end of the day, I just want to see everyone who holds my NFTs go to the moon.”
