Thompson & Knight Expands IP Practice with Addition of Jennifer Sickler

The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce that Jennifer S. Sickler has joined the Firm as a Partner in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in Houston.

Sickler focuses her practice on all areas of intellectual property law, including patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, and licensing matters. She has expertise in civil litigation of intellectual property matters in both federal and state courts, as well as arbitration and mediation experience. Her practice includes preparation and prosecution of domestic and foreign patent and trademark applications. She has represented clients in the energy, biotechnology, chemical, oil and gas, entertainment, and retail sectors.

Sickler received her J.D. from Tulane University School of Law in 1988 and her B.A. in Biochemistry from Rice University. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She is actively involved in numerous organizations, including the American Intellectual Property Law Association, International Trademark Association, Houston Intellectual Property Law Association, Licensing Executive Society, American Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, College of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Foundation, Houston Bar Association, and Greater Houston Partnership. Prior to joining Thompson & Knight, Sickler was a Partner at Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP in Houston.
