Emerge Hires Doron Fialkov as New Vice President of Integration and Adaptation

(Dallas, Texas) September 19, 2012 – Emerge Clinical Decision Solutions, the creator of premier cardiologic clinical decision support software, today announced Doron Fialkov has joined Emerge as the company’s new vice president of integration and adaptation. In this role, Fialkov will be responsible for creating methodology, software implementation, and training.

Emerge is a real time clinical decision support solution that helps doctors increase diagnosis accuracy and efficiency. By running comprehensive patient data through a patented algorithm, Emerge performs more than 8,000 calculations per second to generate a refined diagnosis suggestion. The software has been proven to increase identification of cardiac diseases by as much as 300 percent.

Fialkov is in charge of integration and adaptation for the company’s robust clinical software systems. Emerge’s cardiology support merges seamlessly with any existing electronic medical records system, and Fialkov ensures that the implementation is smooth and doctors and staff understand how to utilize the program.

As he educates doctors and staff about the best ways to use Emerge to improve their work performance, Fialkov is simultaneously crafting a methodology for project management and implementation that future employees will utilize.

Fialkov’s summary of his strengths is a little simpler. “I love starting from scratch and building something big and new. That’s why I moved to the States in the first place. It’s exciting to take something that’s already intelligent with lots of potential and create a system to implement it. Emerge has an amazing product, and it’s my job to help doctors and their staff understand how it can help them do their jobs better,” said Fialkov.

Born in Israel, Fialkov graduated from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology with a degree in practical engineering and electronics. He also served as an Israeli Air Force Trainer. After working for Elbit System Ltd. in Israel as an integration project manager, Fialkov took a project management position at Amdocs.

Three years later, Amdocs offered him the opportunity to move to the United States as a regional director of workforce learning and performance. Over the next seven years he supported more than 30 Fortune 500 companies, increased regional revenue by 500 percent, founded a regional team that grew 800 percent in five years, and implemented an electronic performance support system for more than 35,000 call center agents.

In 2010, Fialkov was promoted to director of business development for Amdocs’s AT&T division in Richardson, Texas. He enjoyed the role, but when Emerge offered him the opportunity to build something from scratch, he couldn’t turn it down.
