Infostan Launches Customer Management and Billing from LogNet

Multi-service solution unifies electricity, water, heating and municipal services for efficient revenue generation and customer service

London, United Kingdom (September 3, 2012) – LogNet Systems, a global provider of customer management and billing solutions for multiple play services providers, today announced that the company has deployed a multi-service customer management and billing solution at Infostan, a leading provider of payment and collection services for municipalities in Serbia, for use at the City of Belgrade.

LogNet Systems’ multi-service solution creates a full operational framework for Infostan to manage and support all of the customer management and billing processes for the numerous municipal and utilities services, including electricity, water and heating, which the City of Belgrade provides to its 1.4 million residents. By unifying its entire service portfolio on LogNet Systems’ MaxBill product suite, the City of Belgrade maintains fully integrated workflows and efficient business processes that are allowing the municipality to increase revenue collection, improve customer service and reduce operational complexity.

Infostan is independently hosting the MaxBill system and is providing the City of Belgrade with managed customer management and billing services. The multi-tenant architecture of MaxBill allows Infostan to service other municipalities in the region on the same customer management and billing platform.

“Working with LogNet significantly upgrades the value proposition we provide to the City of Belgrade and our other municipality clients,” explained Dragan Bukatarevich, Director of Project Implementation at Infostan. “LogNet offers virtually endless flexibility for us to configure any service, workflow process or revenue generating activity, while keeping the City of Belgrade’s IT operation efficient.”

Infostan selected MaxBill to replace a legacy system that reached its end-of-life cycle.

Saga, the leading information technology company in Serbia and the surrounding region, served as the system integrator for the project and led the implementation of MaxBill for Infostan and the City of Belgrade. Saga is a member of New Frontier Group, a strong network of system integration companies providing IT solution across Central and Eastern Europe.

“We are excited to welcome Infostan and the City of Belgrade to our growing customer base of multi-service providers,” said Kirill Rechter, CEO at LogNet Billing. “This new project also validates the success of our strategic decision to work with business channel partners. Our partnerships with companies like Saga are significantly expanding our marketing reach and access to business opportunities.”
